Finance

The Bible instructs Christians: “On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come” (1 Corinthians 16:2). There is no way that ministry can be done in the world without money. Operational expenses for a large group are sizeable. Responding to the needs of the church family, the community and the world require funds. Making certain that the word of God is presented publicly and privately, at home and abroad is expensive. So, God, through the inspired writers, told us to “Give” on the first day of the week so that the needs of the kingdom could be addressed. Each person in the family of God is supposed to examine their own heart and give as they have been prospered.

Tim O’Keefe is the leader of our Finance Ministry.

God intends for Christians to be proper stewards or managers of money both privately and as a church. Tim and the elders make sure that funds given for the Lord’s work at Sanford are cared for in a Godly manner. If you would like information about this ministry, contact Tim at tim.okeefe@sanfordcoc.org.

Our church has a collection once a week during our Sunday morning worship assembly. However, if you wish to make a donation and cannot be in attendance you can still access our online giving portal or you can text “Give” to 407-270-0741 to access our Text-2-Give portal.
